Cheesy Peaches?? YES!
For me, this was surprisingly delicious. My family was unsure of how they would like the texture. Have no fear! All the ingredients come together very smoothly everyone wanted more!
Makes 4 Servings
4 medium, ripe peaches, peeled
Sliced ¼ in thick
2/3 cup cottage cheese
2/3 cup low fat dry milk
1/3 cup water
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla butternut flavor
½ teaspoon maple extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Arrange peach slices in a shallow baking pan that has been sprayed with a nonstick cooking spray.
In a blender, combine remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Bake 40 minutes, until set.
Serve warm, or chill and serve cold.
We couldn't wait for it to chill! After dinner, serving warm Cheesy Peaches was very satisfying. The leftovers were put in the refrigerator overnight and eaten chilled the next day at brunch. This recipe is perfect for any time of the day, year round.
